Who We Are
Hemet Valley Art Association, Inc. (HVAA) is a nonprofit community of artists, supporters, and volunteers serving the Hemet Valley since 1963. Our member-supported gallery and programs provide a welcoming place to create, share, and enjoy fine art and photography.
Our Mission
HVAA exists to encourage and develop an appreciation for, study of, and practice of the visual arts and photography in our community. We work to educate, inspire, and enrich the lives of others through our gallery, website, classes, exhibitions, events, and scholarship fundraising activities. We believe that making and experiencing art is vital to the health and spirit of the Hemet Valley and to humanity as a whole.

Step into the HVAA Gallery and enjoy an ever-changing display of fine art, photography, and handcrafted boutique items created by local artists. Located in Historic Downtown Hemet, we are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and admission is always free. Membership
Our membership is open to artists, students, and art lovers who want to support the visual arts in our region. Members can exhibit artwork in the gallery, enjoy member pricing on classes and workshops, participate in special events, and help guide HVAA’s future. Classes and Workshops
HVAA offers weekly classes and special workshops in drawing, watercolor, clay, and more for adults, teens, and children. Whether you are just getting started or refining your skills, you will learn from practicing artists in a relaxed, supportive setting at our gallery.
